This cuvée represents the deepest and proudest essence of the maison: a Blanc de Noirs that is a pure celebration of the village of Cuisles. Obtained from 100% Pinot Meunier, this Champagne is born exclusively from historical parcels cultivated under a certified organic regime for over seven years. Here, the distinctiveness of the soils and the dedication to sustainable viticulture give life to grapes of rare concentration, capable of defying time with an out-of-the-ordinary elegance.
In the glass, it presents itself with an intense and golden hue, embellished by a very fine and persistent perlage, the distinctive sign of a slow and masterly evolution. On the nose, the olfactory profile is ample and layered: the typical generosity of Meunier evolves into complex notes of dried fruit, bread crust, chestnut honey, and subtle spicy reminders. It is a bouquet that tells of the silence of the cellar, where the wine rested for a good 96 months (8 years) on the lees before dégorgement.
In the mouth, the Longue Garde version reveals all its nobility. The choice of Brut Nature (0 g/L) is not a simple absence of dosage, but an act of transparency that lets only the terroir speak. The sip is powerful, structured, and incredibly persistent, yet supported by a mineral freshness that balances its maturity. The malolactic fermentation and the long aging give a velvety, almost creamy texture, which envelops the palate in a savory and deep finish.
A Champagne of great character and austerity, Les Vignes de Mon Village is destined for moments of haute gastronomie. It finds its ideal pairing with dishes of decisive flavors: porcini mushroom risottos, elaborate white meats, aged cheeses, or great truffle-based dishes.
